Mit ner Menge Bläsern und einer muy alegre fusión aus Balkan, Swing und Jazz heizen euch die 8 Jungs von Los Kamer ordentlich ein!
2018 sind LOS KAMER aus Mexiko zum vierten Male auf Tour durch Europa. Bereits 2007 wurde die Band von Ponce Kamer gegründet. Damals hießen sie noch “KAMER SURFERS”. Ihr erstes Album “Una Tarde de Amore” sorgte gleich für Aufmerksamkeit. Schon damals bestachen die jungen Musiker durch eine mitreißende Mixtur aus Jazz, Swing, Balkan Beat und temporeichem Ska Latino. Inzwischen ist die Band reifer geworden, hat auf zahlreichen Festivals sowie in großen und kleinen Hallen gespielt. Die fünf talentierten Musiker werden mit ihrer beeindruckenden Bühnenpräsenz den Jungbusch zum Kochen bringen! Brust raus, Hüfte raus, Tanzschuhe aus`m Schrank und abgehen bis die Sohlen durch sind!

Los Kamer. Kamer Ponce, Alan González, Roots Baloo, Karim and Hiram Huaracha are Los Kamer, all of them born in the Ixtapaclua and Chalco municipalities of the State of Mexico that surrounds the capital. They have 10 years of trajectory on the music scene, and like gypsies they have been musical nomads whos sound has reached Europe, where they have toured thrice, each time longer than the previous. They have two recordings to their credit and are a fully instrumental band whose every composition is an original.

They started in 2007, as a Surf band, playing concerts where people danced, jumped and screamed elbow over fist. But their curiosity has led them to develop a new style, explore new rhythms and today they provoke slam dancing with a combination of sounds beyond the commonplace within the contemporary Mexican music scene. Los Kamer, carry among their influences the music of Emir Kusturica, Fanfare Ciocărlia, Taraf de Haïdouks and Manu Chao, among others who have been keys to achieve and present to their audience a combination of Jazz, Swing, Western, Balkan, Klezmer, Gypsy, mexican traditional music and latin rhythms.
